Leveling Up the Photography Game in 2023
It was the beginning of 2022 when I set a goal for myself to make a shortlist with one of the themed photographic competitions the Australian Photographic Magazine holds monthly throughout the year. Its a fabulous boost amongst peers to get on a shortlist of any competition.
Reflecting, quite an honour, to have made three shortlists. (the three images above - themes BIRDS, SPEED AND PORTRAIT)
Amidst other artistic battles and almost-victories, this year is dubbed 'The Year of Improvement.' With each competition, I will sling myself into the arena of imagination, striving for a snapshot that resonates, hopefully deeper.
So here's to 2023, a year of sights unseen and heights untamed. Will fortune favor the focused? Will creativity conquer the chaos? With a hearty click and crossed fingers, I will embark on this photographic journey. 🤞✨
And to those who support artistry, you're the true magic behind the scenes - your appreciation fuels my creative fire. You can always 'Buy Me A Juice', even a small amount helps me to continue to create! And, thank you always for your support.
