Day 256: prompt : *INCY WINCY*
Incy wincy spider ... this, was as big as my hand, and, I almost crushed it to its death walking along and didnt notice till last moment!
The red headed mouse spider! Lives in burrows in the ground, often in banks of rivers, creeks and other waterways - in this case, along the Lesmurdie Falls path down to the base of the waterfall.
Female Red-headed Mouse spiders have been found to produce copious amounts of a highly toxic venom, which is potentially as dangerous as that of the Sydney Funnel-web Spider.
